This Refund & Return Policy applies to all orders placed on https://onesnation.in. OnesNation is the consumer-facing brand of ARTIFACT STONEX PRIVATE LIMITED, Rajasthan, India.
Our refund philosophy is simple: if we got it wrong, we fix it on our cost. If you changed your mind, we make it as smooth as we can within reason.
1. The 7-Day Return Window
You may return an eligible product within 7 days from the date of delivery, subject to the conditions below. The 7-day clock starts on the delivery date recorded by our courier partner.
2. Conditions for Return
To qualify for a return, every one of these must be true:
- The product is unused and unflown: no battery charge cycles, no propeller scratches, no firmware activation linked to your account.
- The original outer packaging is intact (no excessive damage from postal labels, no rips, no resealing).
- All bundled accessories — remote, batteries, propellers, charger, screws, manuals, warranty card — are returned together. Missing any single accessory disqualifies the return.
- All seals, factory labels, and serial-number stickers are intact and not tampered with.
- The original tax invoice / order summary is included in the box.
If the product fails any of the above, we may decline the return or apply a deduction (typically 20–40% of the order value) for the missing/damaged element. We will email you with the deduction breakdown before processing the partial refund.
3. How to Initiate a Return
- Email support@onesnation.in within 7 days of delivery. Subject line: "Return — <order number>". Include the reason in 2–3 sentences. Photos of the product, packaging, and any included sticker/seal help us resolve faster.
- We respond within 24 business hours with a Return Authorisation number, the return shipping label, and packing instructions.
- Pack the product securely in the original packaging. Attach the printed return label.
- Hand the parcel to our assigned courier — return pickup is arranged from your registered shipping address. You don't need to find a courier yourself.
- Once we receive and inspect the product (typically 2–4 business days after pickup), we initiate the refund. We will email you the inspection outcome.
4. Refund Method & Timeline
- Online-paid (fully prepaid) orders: refunded to the original payment instrument within 5–7 business days of inspection clearance. The amount appears as a refund on your card / UPI / bank statement.
- Partial COD orders: the online advance (₹50 / ₹100 / ₹500 depending on cart value) is refunded to the bank account / UPI you provide (we will email a refund form). The cash portion was never paid (you paid it only on delivery; if the parcel was refused or you returned post-delivery, the cash is settled at the doorstep or via a separate refund form).
- Bank or UPI processing time (typically 2–5 additional business days) is outside our control. Refund-reference numbers are emailed at initiation so you can track them with your bank.
5. Defective or Damaged on Arrival
If your drone arrives physically damaged, dead-on-arrival, or with a manufacturing defect detectable on first power-on, email support@onesnation.in within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Order number.
- Photos of the outer packaging (before opening, if possible) and the damaged item.
- A short unboxing or first-power-on video — this helps us file an insurance claim with the courier or a warranty claim with the manufacturer.
If the damage is verified, we arrange a free replacement or full refund — your choice — at no cost to you. We may request the defective unit back so we can process it under manufacturer warranty.
Damage reported after 48 hours of delivery may be downgraded to a warranty claim (see Warranty section in Terms), which has different conditions and timelines.
6. What is NOT Returnable
- Drones that have been flown — any flight-log entry, propeller wear, battery cycle, or activation lock counts.
- Damage caused by crash, water, sand, propeller strike, transport without the carrying case, or third-party modification.
- Consumables once unsealed: propellers, individual loose batteries, charging cables, microSD cards.
- Items returned beyond the 7-day window, or with missing accessories / packaging.
- Items purchased on clearance sale or marked "no returns" on the product page.
- Custom-configured bundles created at our manufacturing partner's facility.
- Personalised or engraved items (none in current catalogue but reserved for future products).
7. Warranty is Separate from Returns
The 7-day return window covers buyer's-remorse and dead-on-arrival cases. Manufacturing defects discovered later (within 6 months from delivery) are handled under the Warranty — repair-or-replace by the manufacturer, with the drone sent through our service workflow. Returns and warranty are not interchangeable; a return decision is final once made.
8. Order Cancellation
You can cancel an order any time before dispatch (typically within 24 hours of placement) for a full refund. Once the order has been handed to the courier, the return process applies. See Cancellation Policy for COD-advance refund mechanics.
9. Refused Delivery
If you refuse the delivery without contacting us first, the parcel is returned to our warehouse (RTO). For COD orders, the online advance is forfeited as a partial reverse-logistics charge. For prepaid orders, we refund the full order value minus a ₹150 RTO charge to cover the round-trip courier cost. Contact us before refusing — we can usually find a solution that avoids both charges.
10. Replacement Instead of Refund
For defective-on-arrival cases you can choose a replacement instead of a refund. Replacement orders ship within 48 hours of inspection clearance, with the same free shipping. There is no replacement option for buyer's-remorse returns — those are refund-only.
11. Disputes
If you disagree with our return decision, escalate by replying to the inspection email with "Escalate" in the subject. A senior team member will review within 5 business days. Final decisions are guided by these stated conditions; we don't operate a goodwill exception process beyond what's documented.
